About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive Airbnb's approach to tickets, identifying priority partners and categories and translating market dynamics into growth plans
- Own business outcomes including supply activation, tickets sold, Gross Booking Value, and guest experience quality
- Maintain current market and partner intelligence across tours, activities, attractions, and live events
- Analyze OTAs, primary and secondary ticketers, reservation systems, channel managers, and ticketing platforms
- Build financial models, performance frameworks, and operational analyses for strategic decisions
- Personally analyze data and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Partnerships to align plans and priorities
- Shape product requirements, influence roadmaps, and define demand flows with distribution technology partners
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and advise leadership
- Identify incentive structures, partner programs, and go-to-market approaches to accelerate growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or a closely related field at a high-growth technology or marketplace company
- Track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact problems and delivering measurable results
- Genuine analytical depth, including personally building complex financial and operational models
- Ability to find non-obvious insights in large datasets and communicate findings precisely
- Proficiency in Excel
- SQL experience strongly preferred
- Active use of AI tools
- Product fluency, including understanding software development, identifying gaps, writing structured requirements, and influencing product roadmaps
- Marketing fluency, including growth and acquisition mechanics, demand-side programs, conversion, and LTV
- Experience in or adjacent to the ticketing technology ecosystem, including channel managers, reservation systems, and ticketing platforms
- Ability to operate effectively without direct authority and build cross-functional relationships
- Self-starter who continuously learns new tools, domains, and methods
- Outcome-focused approach with creativity, persistence, and adaptability
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- MBA preferred
- Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
