Own the health and evolution of Payments testing and staging ecosystems.
Lead complex incident triage and guide cross-team mitigation in test environments.
Set technical direction for test process, test infrastructure, data strategy, and observability.
Partner with senior engineers, QE, and Infra on org-wide reliability initiatives.
Mentor engineers and raise the bar for Payments quality.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience in a fast-paced, high-scale environment.
Strong coding skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
Proven experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems end to end.
Deep understanding of debugging complex production and non-production failures.
Strong sense of ownership for availability, reliability, and system correctness.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience building testing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and testing environments.
Experience with payments, financial systems, or regulated environments is preferred.
Hands-on experience with distributed storage systems (MySQL, TiDB/CockroachDB, Redis, etc.).
Familiarity with AWS and large-scale cloud deployments.
