About the role
- Ensure effective EHS support across the site, including training, coaching, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Administration teams to develop clear safety procedures.
- Provide hands-on support for training, safety coaching, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Participate in national EHS projects, industry workshops, and internal audits.
- Support site security and coordinate medical surveillance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve on-site safety and environmental practices.
Requirements
- Technical education or degree.
- Level 1 Safety Professional certification according to Belgian legislation (preferred), or Level 2 with willingness to obtain a Level 1 Prevention Advisor certification.
- Solid knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and ISO quality standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; fluent in French and English (required).
- Proactive with leadership qualities and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to lead by example and influence cross-functional teams.
