About the role

  • Ensure effective EHS support across the site, including training, coaching, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Administration teams to develop clear safety procedures.
  • Provide hands-on support for training, safety coaching, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Participate in national EHS projects, industry workshops, and internal audits.
  • Support site security and coordinate medical surveillance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve on-site safety and environmental practices.

Requirements

  • Technical education or degree.
  • Level 1 Safety Professional certification according to Belgian legislation (preferred), or Level 2 with willingness to obtain a Level 1 Prevention Advisor certification.
  • Solid knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and ISO quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; fluent in French and English (required).
  • Proactive with leadership qualities and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to lead by example and influence cross-functional teams.
