About the role

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, motivation, and support to the outside sales team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement sales plans and territory strategies.
  • Drive efforts to identify and pursue new customer opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Support reps in building positive relationships with clients, resolving increased issues, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Supervise individual and team KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver ongoing training and mentorship to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for leadership review.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning, encouraging team members to understand and effectively communicate technical product details and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required - STEM field preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Prior people management experience a plus
