About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company-operated aircraft and components
  • Inspect and repair aircraft and components according to maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verify component and assembly part numbers and serial numbers against associated documentation
  • Complete aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company Safety Management System
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues when directed by designated operations, maintenance, pilot, or safety leaders
  • Advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validate or confirm aircraft Status Report data
  • Request aviation parts and supplies to maintain adequate, orderly inventory and operational readiness
  • Support company operational goals and objectives
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 5 years’ related experience
  • Active/current FAA A&P license required and in good standing
  • Rotor experience needed; primary aircraft is an EC130
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
  • FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing skills
  • Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs, and similar documents
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Ability to use electronic or paper-based manuals and navigate vendor data
  • Ability to learn and use the company ERP system, Ramco
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • RAMCO experience preferred
  • Ability to work within one hour of the base
  • Timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% periodically in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
