About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at an exceptional level
- Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to support field maintenance needs
- Oversee and organize shop personnel resources and workflow to meet project deadlines
- Communicate specialized shop needs to the Engineering Department
- Provide training on 145 maintenance processes and specialized shop equipment
- Report project constraints and progress updates to Maintenance Leads and Supervisors
- Mentor new employees on shop procedures
- Provide feedback to the Supervisor on employee performance
- Monitor, control, and order material usage in the designated shop
- Lead the individual team and act as a subject matter expert for the maintenance discipline
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bell 407 Rotor experience needed
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and eight (8) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Lead experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of AMC part 145 and 135 maintenance requirements and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and ability to navigate vendor data
- Comprehensive knowledge of discipline-specific concepts and practices
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently and solve problems of diverse scope
- Thorough understanding of the AMC Safety Management System
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge and ability to utilize multiple RAMCO functions
- FAA A&P or meeting requirements to obtain an FAA repairman certificate preferred
- Regular scheduled attendance required
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing requirements
- Travel under 5%
