About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at an exceptional level
- Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to support field maintenance needs
- Communicate specialized shop needs to the Engineering Department
- Report project constraints and progress updates to Maintenance Leads and Supervisors
- Mentor new employees on shop procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor, control, and order material usage in the designated shop
- Act as a subject matter expert for the maintenance discipline
- Provide training and mentoring to shop personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED and five (5) or more years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of AMC Part 145 and Part 135 maintenance requirements and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency using electronic or paper-based manuals and navigating vendor data
- Comprehensive knowledge of the specific maintenance discipline and its application
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently and solve problems of diverse scope
- Thorough understanding of the AMC Safety Management System
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge and ability to utilize multiple RAMCO functions
- FAA A&P certification preferred, or meet requirements to obtain an FAA repairman certificate
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Willingness/ability to undergo DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing
