About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at an exceptional level
- Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to provide support for field maintenance needs
- Provide communications to Engineering Department for specialized shop needs
- Report Maintenance Leads and Supervisors on project constraints and progress updates
- Mentor new employees in understanding shop procedures to increase their efficiency and productivity
- Responsible for monitoring, controlling and ordering of material usage in the designated shop.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of AMC part 145 and 135 maintenance requirements and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
- Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of concepts and practices of their specific disciplines skills and their application.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently and to work on problems of diverse scope and implement solutions.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the AMC Safety Management System.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge and ability to utilize of multiple RAMCO functions
- FAA A&P or meet requirements to obtain a FAA repairman certificated preferred
