About the role
- Responsible for daily operations within the Logistics Center
- Support of field aircraft operations by picking, shipping, receiving, storing, and testing inventory
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics processes
- Oversee outbound shipping and movement of materials from Hub
- Process Material Movement Documents for aircraft parts
- Request and adhere to departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies
- Maintain quality control and compliance with FAA, SOX, and DOD regulations
- Conduct scheduled cycle counts of inventory
- Perform inventory receiving and kitting operations
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years aviation and/or parts/logistics operations experience
- Ability to operate a forklift and pass a certification of operation test after initial OSHA training
- Problem solving skills and ability to identify root cause
- Demonstrated ability to apply basic mathematical principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
