About the role
- Responsible to perform continuity and power and ground checks for post installation wiring accuracy.
- Perform configurations and calibration of avionics and medical equipment.
- Perform post installation system operational checks.
- Be able to perform complex troubleshooting and repair discrepancies.
- Operate multiple types of avionics test equipment.
- Maintain work orders and direct personnel for job assignments.
Requirements
- Two year certificate from college or technical school; and/or four or more year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four (4) years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated General Aviation avionics experience with installation, troubleshooting, and FAA certification.
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Proficient in avionics test equipment.
- Proficient with FAR 91.411 and 91.413.
- Proficient in avionics systems to include but not limited to Comm, Nav, Audio, Marker Beacon, Autopilot, Garmin 430, 530, G1000, G500, GTN 650/750, Satellite Phone and Tracking, TCAS, and lighting systems.
