About the role
- Provide leadership for UR’s technology environment (IT and OT), including systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and business applications
- Oversee ERP roadmap and support business process automation and integration projects
- Drive operational reliability and security of UR networks, systems, and plant-floor (OT) technology
- Partner with Corporate IT to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, governance, and security requirements
- Support DFARS/NIST/CMMC readiness by ensuring UR technology systems and practices align with compliance requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Develop technological roadmaps to support UR’s business strategy, productivity, and customer experience (e.g., digital tools, Tech Pub website)
- Lead vendor engagement, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure value delivery
- Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, and technology performance dashboards
- Build and manage annual technology budgets; track and report on cost, risk, and project performance
- Sponsor and coach continuous improvement initiatives in technology systems and processes, working with the internal stakeholder and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and ten (10) or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technology management, including IT infrastructure, OT systems, and business applications
- Experience working in regulated environments (defense/aerospace preferred), including DFARS/NIST/CMMC compliance support
- Proven success leading ERP upgrades, migrations, and system integration projects
- Demonstrated ability to partner with corporate IT while addressing business-unit needs.
