About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and trainings at the assigned sites.
Prepare detailed inspection reports in close coordination with the on-site responsible persons.
Jointly develop practical corrective actions.
Consistently track actions until successful completion.
Conduct Behavioral Safety Visits (safety dialogues) to actively raise employee awareness.
Deliver fire safety assistant (fire warden) training on-site and support operational fire protection.
Provide advice & coaching as the first point of contact for managers, safety officers and employees.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical or commercial vocational training.
Additional qualifications (highly advantageous): Certification as a Safety Specialist (SiFA) to ensure depth of professional advice.
Qualification as a Fire Safety Officer, ideally with the authorization to train fire wardens.
Experience as a safety officer or dangerous goods officer is a plus.
Strong hands-on mentality: you take initiative and find pragmatic solutions in day-to-day operations.
Strong communication skills and customer orientation when dealing with different hierarchy levels.
Team-oriented and independent working style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Willingness to travel: due to support of numerous sites, a high willingness to travel (across Germany) is essential.
