About the role
- Take full responsibility for the specification, selection, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Lead RCAs efficiently
- Work with site staff and the reliability team to develop and implement strategies that maximize uptime of the equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with rotating equipment during operation
- Ensure all pressure vessel and piping designs adhere to relevant industry standards
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to design, install, and commission new equipment and systems safely and efficiently
- Serve as a subject matter expert for key rotating equipment
- Assist in managing project scope, schedules, and budgets for project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or chemical processing environment
- Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Div. 1) and Process Piping code (B31.3)
- Demonstrated experience with industrial rotating equipment and mechanical systems
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven “hands-on” mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Experience in environmental sustainability industry such as biogas, renewable energy or waste treatment
- Working knowledge of commercial agreements and customer relations
- Ability to travel (up to 40%)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
