Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Texas Health and Human Services Commission on the SHARP Data Engineering and Data Governance project.
Understand business objectives and problems and identify alternative solutions.
Perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of proposed alternatives.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
Confer with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems.
Learn and document specific input and output requirements, including forms of data input, data summarization, and report formats.
Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested programs or program changes.
Independently perform a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and judgment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years of experience using Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, and Entity360.
10 years of experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations.
10 years of experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.
Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred.
4 years of experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake.
4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field; equivalent work experience may be substituted; a Master's degree or 6 years of experience is preferred.
2 years of experience in healthcare or Public Health.
2 years of experience at a state agency.
2 years of experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs.
