About the role
- Develop and execute the U.S. sales strategy
- Partner with the leadership team to define target customer segments, priority verticals, pricing inputs, and sales motions
- Align go-to-market execution with cross-functional teams to enable fast, scalable growth
- Partner closely with marketing on positioning, messaging, and demand generation
- Drive acquisition of new strategic customers with a focus on long-term, high-quality revenue
- Lead and scale the sales function, including account executives and supporting resources
- Establish sales goals, quotas, pipeline targets, and performance metrics
- Personally lead complex, high-value enterprise deals and executive-level negotiations
- Implement a disciplined, repeatable sales process from prospecting through close
- Coach and develop the team while setting a high bar for ownership, urgency, and accountability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers and technology partners
- Navigate complex buying environments with multiple decision-makers and stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry events and executive-level customer meetings
- Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory and contractual considerations in target markets
- Collaborate with legal and compliance functions to ensure accurate and responsible customer commitments
- Incorporate risk and governance considerations into deal structuring and commercial terms
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide accurate forecasts and regular performance updates to executive leadership
- Continuously improve conversion rates, sales cycle efficiency, and overall pipeline quality
- Work closely with product, operations, and customer success to ensure scalable and successful deployments
- Feed market and customer insights back into product roadmap and pricing strategy
- Align with post-sales and account management teams to support retention and expansion
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or AI sales
- Proven track record of leading quota-carrying enterprise sales teams (>$1M quota per AE)
- Demonstrated success managing long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, high-growth environment
- Proficiency with modern CRM systems and sales technologies
- Strong prioritization and execution skills across multiple concurrent objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred but not required.
