About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Results-driven, goal-oriented Vice President, Integrated Media serving as client partner and people leader for large clients.
- Manage and develop a team of Directors, ensuring effective communication strategies are translated into actionable media plans.
- Serve as the senior-most agency contact at executive level for large client relationships, identifying core business needs and building innovative solutions.
- Lead creation of holistic media strategies across all channels, ensuring a consistent narrative.
- Take ownership for the health and growth of client relationships, flagging risks and expanding proactively.
- Provide portfolio-level oversight across multiple engagements, ensuring quality and direction.
- Work with media and analytics teams to measure plans, ensuring results and optimizing strategies.
- Act as a leader and mentor, fostering a collaborative attitude and fostering team talents.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of experience in a client services or strategic planning role within a top-tier consulting firm, interactive agency, or media agency, including prior people-management experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing Director-level talent, including performance management and career pathing.
- Experience operating at the executive/C-suite client level, with a track record of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder client organizations.
- Deep knowledge of strategic planning best practices, with proven expertise in developing creative, strategic, and optimized media plans for clients.
- Extensive knowledge of the integrated media landscape, including both traditional and digital channels.
- Proven experience growing a client account, understanding their needs, and leveraging agency services to create new opportunities.
- Strong understanding of the digital project lifecycle, including creative development, web technologies, and third-party vendors, and are always looking for ways to push our work forward.
- Mastery of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals, and familiar with marketing principles and analytics.
- An optimist with the foresight to create solutions before challenges arise, thrive on building strong relationships and confidently present ideas.
- A "we before me" attitude and excel at uniting and mentoring cross-functional teams.
