About the role
- Oversee all field construction activities ensuring project delivery safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage contractors and coordinate with engineering and project teams.
- Support planning and execution phases including constructability reviews and contractor selection.
- Drive accountability across all construction phases from design to turnover.
- Conduct site inspections and lead weekly meetings with clear documentation.
- Assist with commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
Requirements
- 15+ years in construction, with 5+ years as Construction Manager or Superintendent.
- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Construction Management; trade background an asset.
- Strong experience managing EPC/EPCM/D&C/TK contracts (client-side preferred).
- Background in mining or heavy industrial projects highly valued.
- Proven leadership, conflict resolution, and contractor management skills.
- Knowledge of current construction codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) required.
