About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, Engineering and Data & Analytics cases
Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert for our internal community
Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery
Contribute to the growth of our partnership with Databricks
Create and deliver engaging technical and thought leadership content
Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations
Support channel and sales activities to provide architecture advisory

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Strong consulting (7+ years), communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote & customer-facing setting
Deep familiarity with Databricks features including AI, ML, Engineering and Analytics features
7+ years of Databricks solution design, implementation, engineering experience
5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala and/or Spark SQL OR 5+ years ML Engineering or AI Engineering deploying, promoting and serving ML models
Hands-on working knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features
Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts & best practices is preferred
Experience in terraform deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) highly desirable
Any Databricks certificates are highly regarded
Willingness to travel
