About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, Engineering and Data & Analytics cases
- Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert for our internal community
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery
- Contribute to the growth of our partnership with Databricks
- Create and deliver engaging technical and thought leadership content
- Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations
- Support channel and sales activities to provide architecture advisory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Strong consulting (7+ years), communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote & customer-facing setting
- Deep familiarity with Databricks features including AI, ML, Engineering and Analytics features
- 7+ years of Databricks solution design, implementation, engineering experience
- 5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala and/or Spark SQL OR 5+ years ML Engineering or AI Engineering deploying, promoting and serving ML models
- Hands-on working knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features
- Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts & best practices is preferred
- Experience in terraform deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) highly desirable
- Any Databricks certificates are highly regarded
- Willingness to travel
