About the role
- Understand and articulate the business's strategic goals, translating them into a clear product vision that guides development efforts.
- Ensure the development team is focused on delivering features that align with business goals and drive product success.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, end-users, technical, and management teams.
- Conduct business analysis to ensure requirements are understood, documented, and communicated to reduce misunderstandings and scope creep.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Act as primary point of contact between stakeholders and development team; manage expectations and provide regular updates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, maintenance, IT) to align software products and analytics with organizational objectives.
- Build and prioritize user stories as Product Owner; translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (option to deploy a Scrum Master).
- Collaborate with QA to ensure user stories meet acceptance criteria and quality standards; participate in testing and validation.
- Provide knowledge transfer and support to designers and developers for web/mobile apps and Power BI dashboards.
- Create and maintain project documentation: user stories, functional requirements, process flows, behavior-driven use cases, acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
- Continuously refine the product backlog and respond to feedback; identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques and tools to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights; document data integrations and transformations.
