About the role

  • You advise our clients on designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring and observability solutions using the Grafana platform.
  • You ensure best practices are understood and effectively applied to optimally monitor and improve systems.
  • Together with your team and the client, you analyze their specific requirements and use cases in the areas of observability and traceability.
  • You translate these into well-considered, practical solution concepts.
  • You continuously review and refine existing monitoring configurations to improve system performance, minimize downtime, and maximize transparency of infrastructure and application status.
  • You conduct trainings and workshops to ensure our clients can effectively use their monitoring platforms in daily operations.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in system engineering, particularly with monitoring/observability tools
  • Good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: observability solutions (Grafana, Datadog, Elastic, etc.)
  • Tracing (distributed tracing)
  • Monitoring of CI/CD processes
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman) is a plus
  • Structured, independent working style
  • Eagerness for continuous learning, professional development, and openness to new tools and methods
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1) & basic technical English (B1)
