About the role
- You migrate and build Kubernetes clusters on AWS
- You refactor and optimize existing Jenkins test automation pipelines
- You implement security in CI/CD pipelines
- You build an AI sandbox and take responsibility for infrastructure and requirements engineering
- You evaluate Grafana and observability solutions and establish tool partnerships
- You act as a sparring partner and mentor to your colleagues
- You help develop our platform engineering roadmap together with your team
- You analyze trends in requirements, evaluate suitable tools, and drive standardization across our client projects
- You support client acquisition and development through consulting, webinars, and tool demos
- You pursue regular professional development and allocate time for your growth, for example toward a lead role in DevSecOps
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering
- Experience implementing security aspects, e.g., within CI/CD pipelines
- Related and adjacent knowledge in CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Container management (e.g., Kubernetes) and containerization
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu)
- AWS or similar cloud providers
- Very good German skills (at least C1) & basic technical English (B1)
- Nice to have: knowledge of Git, Python/Java, Crossplane, Backstage
- Experience with observability
- Initial certifications (e.g., CKA, CKS)
- Industry experience (insurance, public sector)
- Experience with GitOps, Scrum, or Kanban
- Experience in pre-sales
