About the role
- Shaping solutions with clients: You analyze requirements, evaluate tools, and provide strategic recommendations
- You develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and platform solutions (Kubernetes, IaC), taking security aspects into account
- You advise on container platforms, CI/CD and observability
- You help standardize platform architectures
- You work closely with our clients — as equals and with a holistic perspective
- Growing within the team: You further develop our Platform Engineering career path
- You support your colleagues at AIM with your expertise and act as a sparring partner
- You assist in acquiring new clients (e.g., through technical contributions)
- You pursue regular professional development and dedicate time to your personal growth
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the DevOps/Platform Engineering environment
- Very good knowledge in at least one of these areas: CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar)
- Experience with a Kubernetes distribution
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu or similar)
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
- Structured, self-directed way of working
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning, development and openness to new tools and methods
- Very good German skills (at least C1) & basic technical English (B1)
- Nice to have: Git, Python/Java, cloud providers (preferably AWS); Crossplane, Backstage
- Experience with observability
- Initial certifications (e.g., CKA, CKS)
- Industry knowledge (insurance, public sector)
- Experience with GitOps, Scrum or Kanban
