About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research target companies that are an ideal fit for us (e.g., upper mid-market companies with a modernization backlog or corporations focused on cloud migration).
  • Multichannel Outbound & Social Selling: Conduct cold calls and personalized email campaigns to generate interest in Ailio solutions (such as the enterprise chatbot or data lakehouses).
  • Lead Qualification & Discovery: Determine whether the customer has a real pain point, whether there is budget, and what the current IT landscape looks like.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Sales experience: Initial experience in sales, business development, or account management (ideally in a B2B environment or in SaaS/IT services).
  • Basic technical understanding: You don’t need to be a data scientist, but you should understand what terms like Cloud Computing, Data Lakehouse, Machine Learning and Generative AI mean.
  • Language skills: Business-fluent German (C2) for communication with the German mid-market and strong English skills for working in a tech environment.
  • Tool stack: Confident use of CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce or HubSpot) and research tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Educational background: A degree in business administration, business informatics, marketing or a comparable qualification is advantageous but not mandatory if relevant experience is present.
