About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and develop underwriting guidelines in collaboration with Global CUO Property
- Update and manage the global Property SharePoint site
- Serve as SME for the SCUP initiative
- Work closely with Policy Wording Specialists on form needs and new endorsements
- Develop, support development of, and review CUO-driven global and regional tools, including SCUP, GLMS, and Cat reporting for underwriting
- Represent Property CUO in SCUP, data, digital, and other priority projects
- Collaborate with senior Operations members to bring an underwriter’s perspective to systems and tools development, focusing on user functionality
- Own quarterly Property Facility bordereaux within CUO
- Manage and collaborate on global Property-specific projects across divisions
- Maintain and update underwriting tools and connect with the field to escalate tool needs
- Manage and drive data-insight partnering, including analysis of internal and external data such as scorecards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working knowledge of how to build and understand strategies
- Working knowledge of VBA to develop tools and offer relevant instruction to programming teams
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures
- Experience collaborating and working across different senior levels
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Background in developing and maintaining a broad network of contacts within a global insurance organization
