About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process producer license applications, renewals, and terminations in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
Submit and track producer appointments with insurance carriers across multiple states.
Work closely with Underwriting and Operations teams to ensure licensing matters are addressed in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate licensing records in company databases and management systems.
Research and interpret state licensing requirements, regulations, and procedural changes.
Coordinate with state departments of insurance to resolve licensing issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of state insurance licensing regulations and NAIC guidelines
3+ years of experience in insurance licensing, producer appointments, or regulatory compliance
Proficiency with licensing management systems, databases, and Microsoft office
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record maintenance
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong research skills in the areas of insurance compliance, conduct and financial regulation
