Key responsibilities & impact

Lead risk-based internal audits across investment activities
Oversee SOX 404 compliance efforts
Assess controls over financial reporting and other relevant activities
Partner with Finance leadership to identify control gaps and risks
Review complex financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Supervise and mentor audit staff
Utilize data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of experience in auditing Investments
Supervisory / managerial experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
A certified professional designation (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA, etc.) expected within 12 months
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Experience with auditing leveraging data analysis tools (e.g. MS Excel, Access, ACL, IDEA, etc.)
Familiarity with industry laws and regulations
Experience working in financial services/insurance industries.
