Casualty Risk Consultant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with AIG Underwriters to evaluate operations, controls, and safety culture
- Conduct casualty loss prevention surveys remotely and on-site at industrial and commercial facilities
- Identify operational hazards and assess the adequacy of controls
- Document survey results and provide opinions of risk/recommendations to underwriting and clients
- Collaborate with diverse teams across AIG on various projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of (1) years of experience in insurance loss control, manufacturing or energy industry, or environmental, health & safety (EHS) management
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- Familiarity with state insurance regulatory requirements and/or the state and federal litigation system
