Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the global compute infrastructure strategy across on-premises, cloud, VMWare, hybrid, and edge environments
Drive technology selection, standardization, and architectural direction for all compute platforms
Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging compute technologies (AI/ML accelerators, specialized hardware)
Build, lead, and mentor global compute engineering teams across multiple geographies
Foster culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
Oversee design, deployment, and operation of global compute infrastructure
Ensure high availability (99.99%+) through robust architecture and disaster recovery planning
Drive SRE practices to improve reliability and reduce operational toil

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience working on engineering and infrastructure management with a significant focus on managing Storage workloads.
Expert-level proficiency in at least one storage solution and backup solutions.
Proven expertise with AWS, including hands-on experience Backup and DR including Cyber resiliency.
Solid understanding of cloud security, data governance, and best practices for deploying and managing workloads.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and identity and access management.
