About the role
- Preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements for AIG General Insurance International’s results
- Contributing to analytical reviews of segment Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Partnering with Reinsurance, Actuarial, Investment and regional controllers
- Performing ledger data analysis and remediation
- Support the audit process with external and internal auditors
- Identifying opportunities and contributing to strengthening the control environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Qualified CPA preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in a controllership or financial reporting role at a public company; insurance sector experience a plus
- Strong project management and change management capabilities
- Systems-technical acumen with an aptitude to learn new financial accounting and reporting systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
