About the role
- Developing machine learning models or agentic workflows to drive efficiency, improve decision making, and reduce costs
- Providing key reporting and analytics support, reviewing business performance, and driving planning and forecasting efforts
- Improving financial management systems and information, contributing to process improvement or savings initiatives, and participating in finance projects
- Participating in the analyst program which includes innovative learning and technical training, formalized mentoring, exposure to senior leaders, and continuous feedback
- Collaborating across the enterprise and working with multiple stakeholders to inform decisions and maintain financial discipline and controls
Requirements
- Desire to learn about and engage with various roles and responsibilities of a life and retirement insurance company
- Minimum 3.2 grade point average (unofficial transcript required upon application)
- Candidate for bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2026
- Ability to work 40 hours per week; 2-3 days in the office per week
- Experience with Python programming language
- Experience with SQL or Snowflake
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, resourceful and capable of working with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Have an attention to detail and accuracy
- Committed to learning new skills and open to work within different business and subject areas
- Preferred: One or more years of internship experience
