About the role
- Collaborate with architecture and design teams on high level design reviews.
- Create Low-level design (LLD) deliverables.
- Perform development & unit testing activities.
- Identify and manage development dependencies.
- Contribute to a culture of quality.
- Identify issue root causes, triage and resolve defects.
- Follow and improve development best practices.
- Support in sprint and end to end testing phases.
- Support onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience supporting E2E design, development, delivery in the financial services sector.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Hands on insurance domain development & architecture experience
- Experience with Java full stack application development & architecture implementation expertise
- Hands on full stack development experience with an emphasis on Java or Angular applications
- Experience with Duck Creek Policy or equivalent solutions a plus.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing paradigms, prominent industry design patterns, and agile development methodologies.
