About the role

  • Develop expertise in handling and investigating complex claims
  • Proactively deal with claims in accordance with best practice guidelines
  • Regular contact with internal stakeholders and brokers, experts, and external lawyers
  • Use claims expertise to support the feedback loop to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Claims handling experience, with Casualty experience being an advantage
  • A customer centric mindset is critical
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within which such claims are handled
  • Proven ability to make an accurate and timely decision
  • Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation
  • Lateral thinking and the ability to problem solve and develop new ideas to improve working practices
  • Strong desire to support a key aim of continuous improvement
