About the role
- Review and assessment of technical risk quality in the field of cyber insurance
- Explaining this risk quality with regard to potential loss scenarios
- Advising the underwriting team on risk selection, coverage design, strategic direction, and the further development of risk selection
- Supporting client and acquisition meetings with technical cyber expertise
- Explaining technical matters and their impact on insurance coverage to clients, as well as outlining possible solutions
- Technical analysis of public and internal information on cyber incidents and identification of trends and new developments related to cyber losses
- Willingness to provide sales support and to travel for business within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Point of contact for external providers of cyber security services
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science, IT security, or a comparable field of study
- In-depth knowledge of information security risks
- At least initial relevant professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in the cyber area
- Practical experience in IT operations is an advantage
- Confident and experienced in working with external partners
- Excellent German and English skills; initial international experience is an advantage.
