• Underwriting the Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and Auto Liability primary Casualty product lines
• Develop and manage underwriting strategies for both renewals and prospects
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies
• Make independent sales calls to market and cross-market products
• Identify target markets, design and implement strategies for lead development
• Provide technical direction to management and less senior specialists
• Collaborate with Distribution, Territory Managers, and other underwriters
• Rapidly evaluate, prioritize, and select submissions to be underwritten
