Software Engineer

• Drive application development through design, build, and deployment of Workday Extend applications tailored to business needs
• Develop reusable, modular components following Workday best practices and security standards
• Lead the design, build, and testing of Workday Extend
• Integrate Workday Extend applications with other Workday modules and external systems via Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
• Create and maintain governance and demand management approach to ensure a well-maintained tenant
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure end-to-end data flow and process automation
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Work with business to analyze, research, debug and resolve Workday related issues
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance, automate processes, and improve system efficiency
• Ensure all designs adhere to security best practices, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards
• Lead integration testing activities, prepare test scripts, conduct Unit and UAT testing
• Thoroughly document Extend processes, configurations for future reference
• Utilize a continuous improvement approach by staying current with Workday’s latest features, updates, and Extend capabilities, and proposing and driving continuous improvement ideas to optimize Workday solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
