About the role

  • Define User Needs - Collaborate with analysts and managers to conduct research, engage stakeholders, evaluate current interfaces and offer rapid design recommendations, translating findings into actionable user flows and detailed design requirements.
  • Rapid Prototyping - Build quick, iterative low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma to visualize concepts, explore multiple solutions, and validate usability and functionality before development begins.
  • Iteration - Continuously refine designs through rapid cycles of feedback, incorporating insights from users, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure the final product meets both business and user needs.
  • User Testing - Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to inform design improvements.
  • Graphic Design – Design branded visual assets, including iconography, to ensure consistency across tools and products.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of human-centered design and design thinking methodologies
  • Proficiency in design tools: Figma (required), Adobe Creative Suite, and Lucid (nice to have)
  • Solid visual design skills, including working with vector graphics
  • Experience leveraging third-party design systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with designing for BIM software (e.g., Revit)
  • Experience with XAML front-end coding
  • Experience with branding design
  • Familiarity with accessible design principles
