About the role

  • You independently manage controlling and accounting
  • Based on the annual budget, you prepare accurate forecasts and actively participate in the annual budget planning
  • You perform detailed variance analyses, identify optimization potential and clearly outline recommended actions
  • You are responsible for the regular reconciliation of accounts receivable, accounts payable and balance sheet accounts
  • You prepare monthly financial statements according to international standards (Uniform System of Accounts) and annual financial statements under German GAAP (HGB) in close cooperation with our tax advisor
  • You work closely with the central controlling team in Berlin and act as the primary point of contact for all commercial/financial matters on site
  • Through ad-hoc analyses you provide sound decision-making support even for short-term requests

Requirements

  • Commercial/business qualification, preferably in the hotel industry
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a managerial position
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel
  • Experience posting entries using DATEV
  • Knowledge of controlling software (LucaNet, fairmas or similar)
  • Independent, structured and deadline-oriented working style
  • Strong numerical affinity and analytical thinking skills
