Regional Sales Manager – Wood
AHFRegional Wood Sales Manager pursuing premium wood flooring sales opportunities and building relationships with designers, builders, and high-end consumers. Collaborating with sales teams to execute strategy and support client projects.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with the outside sales team to develop and execute targeted sales strategies
- Partner with inside design teams to understand client project needs and offer tailored recommendations
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key builders, renovation companies, contractors, and designers
- Engage with high-end consumers, offering expert consultation and guidance on premium wood flooring selection
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels
- Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of market trends
- Partner with Product Management team to introduce new concepts
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and training sessions
- Provide ongoing support and expertise to the sales team
- Ensure smooth project execution by working in conjunction with the installation team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in sales within the flooring or building materials industry
- In-depth knowledge of various wood flooring types, species, finishes, and installation methods
- Experience working with builders, architects, designers, and high-end consumers
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Experience in training and development is highly desirable
- Certification from the National Wood Flooring Association or other relevant industry organizations is a plus
