About the role

  • The Designer plays a critical role as a design member of a project team
  • Provides comprehensive design of systems that vary in size and scope for the assigned/designated division
  • Develops all system drawings, specs, calculations, and bill of material lists associated with their assigned projects.
  • Operates independently and consistently in a methodical yet fast-paced manner to ensure success and timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting/Design or related field, or, field installation experience.
  • Proficiency in a recent version of Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of commercial or industrial building construction
  • Have a working knowledge of steam and hydronic systems
  • Be able to manage a design team’s schedule
  • Lead coordination efforts
  • Problem solve
  • Have strong math skills
  • The ability to read blueprints.
