About the role
- Overseeing project design progression from inception to completion including design, permits, as-builts, and operations and maintenance manuals.
- Develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets.
- Participate in team and on-site progress meetings.
- Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications while ensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed.
- Multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience in the design of fire alarms, special hazard suppression, and pre-engineered systems or related experience.
- Previous experience working in AutoCAD is required, experience in REVIT is strongly preferred.
- Prior industrial design experience is a plus.
- Demonstrating knowledge of low voltage wiring and conventional and/or addressable fire alarm panels.
- Experience and knowledge of special hazard fire suppression systems.
- NICET Certification preferred.
- Previous experience in Revit or BIM modeling is preferred.
