About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and improve our Shopify Plus storefront, including Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, theme architecture, and custom functionality.
Support projects across checkout, cart flows, apps, and customer experiences.
Use modern AI coding tools to accelerate development and improve workflows.
Create and iterate on A/B tests and conversion improvements, working closely with our teams.
Contribute to our Shopify Plus infrastructure, including custom apps, Shopify Functions, APIs, tracking integrations, and automation workflows.
Help keep our webshop fast, stable, and scalable by improving Core Web Vitals, code quality, accessibility, and overall frontend performance.
Work closely with different teams to translate business needs into clear technical solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3+ years of experience building web applications or e-commerce experiences
Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Liquid, themes, or Shopify APIs.
Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend development.
Experience with React, Next.js, Remix, or Tailwind is a plus.
Actively use AI tools in your development workflow and know how to evaluate, improve, and validate AI-generated solutions.
Responsibility and independence in developing features.
Focus on solving problems and delivering value.
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Curiosity about AI, automation, and how technology can make teams faster.
