About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for all trade marketing at ahead — from POS development to cross-country campaign harmonization.
- Develop innovative, on-brand POS materials that pop on the shelf — no standard shelf displays, no generic fixtures.
- Maintain and build a reliable network of POS manufacturers and creative partners.
- Align and harmonize all trade marketing campaigns with relevant marketing channels: performance marketing, brand activation, social media, CRM, and influencer marketing.
- Work closely with Brand & Design to create on-brand sell-in materials and commercial presentations.
- Plan and execute out-of-home (OOH) campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the Key Account Management (KAM) team to develop sell-in strategies, annual negotiation materials, and account-specific activation plans.
- Develop category management arguments and shopper insights for retailers.
- Co-develop retail concepts that drive sales and distribution targets.
- Develop market-specific trade marketing concepts for France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland.
- Analyze the trade structures, shopper behavior, and competitive landscape in each market.
- Coordinate retail-focused influencer campaigns in alignment with Social Growth and the respective KAMs.
- Develop creator concepts that specifically drive traffic and attention to retail partners.
- Manage the budget for trade marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting to the Sales Director and management on campaign performance, POS effectiveness, and market developments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of trade marketing experience in the FMCG environment — you have hands-on knowledge of retail structures, shopper marketing, and in-store execution.
- Experience developing and implementing POS materials — from concept to store execution, including supplier management and quality control.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with KAM, Brand, and Marketing.
- International mindset — ideally you have already developed or supported trade marketing concepts for multiple markets.
- Structured, entrepreneurial working style — you build processes instead of waiting for them.
- Strong creativity — you don't think in templates.
- Absolute ownership mindset — you take full responsibility for your area.
- A creative eye combined with commercial thinking — you understand what works on the shelf and why.
