Regional Soybean Production Analyst II

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the key point of contact for regional vendors, growers, and processing plants.
- Perform quality checks of various seed types including commercial, parent seed, and experimental lines, both in field and laboratory environments.
- Record and track seed line information throughout the production process.
- Enter and manage seed inventory in GDM systems for various seed categories.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory accuracy through regular checks and physical inventories.
- Track seed discards and support administrative processes related to grain sales.
- Prepare written agreements with growers and support the assignment and tracking of production activities.
- Support warehouse operations related to the distribution of test seed when required.
- Utilize GDM systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and operational coordination.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely information flow.
- Support operational planning and adapting processes as needed to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Agribusiness, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in agribusiness, seed production, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of seed production processes is desirable
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with data management systems and operational tracking tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating within a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing operational needs
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Willingness to travel, including overnight stays when necessary.
