About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and improve internal retention dashboards and automated workflows for the Agent Success team
Build complex PostgreSQL queries, RPCs, materialized views, and scheduled pg_cron jobs
Write and maintain Deno/TypeScript Edge Functions powering automations, API syncs, and SendGrid email notifications
Execute incremental and full syncs against OData and REST APIs
Establish deduplication, backfill strategies, and data quality validation
Debug broken UI logic, fix display issues, and extend React functionality
Investigate source data to identify discrepancies and resolve root causes
Monitor and update scheduled notifications, alert emails, weekly list distribution, and nightly data refresh jobs
Document SQL, function definitions, and handoffs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong PostgreSQL proficiency beyond basic queries
Experience with CTEs, window functions, materialized views, pg_cron, and performance tuning using EXPLAIN ANALYZE and index strategies
Experience with Supabase Edge Functions using Deno/TypeScript
Experience with RPC design, vault secrets, and Row-Level Security (RLS)
Proficiency in Deno/TypeScript or JavaScript
Demonstrated experience integrating REST and OData APIs
Solid understanding of Git and GitHub, including deploying Edge Functions
React frontend debugging and extension experience preferred
Experience with SendGrid or similar transactional email platforms preferred
ETL knowledge involving incremental syncs, deduplication, and backfill logic preferred
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Lovable, Cursor, or Claude Code preferred
Prior PropTech, real estate technology, or brokerage back-office experience preferred
Ability to operate autonomously, investigate complex data issues, and reason about business data
Methodical approach to diagnosing data issues and validating assumptions
