About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial solar and energy storage projects from contract award through customer handover
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, contractors, and customers
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement, logistics, and reporting through NetSuite and project management systems
- Oversee contractor and supplier performance
- Ensure installation quality, cost efficiency, and safety compliance
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, stakeholder relationships, safety performance, and installation quality
- Drive project closeout, continuous improvement, lessons learned, and mentoring of junior project managers
- Deliver innovative renewable energy solutions and outstanding customer outcomes while driving profitability and business growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Seasoned experience in project management, engineering, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Strong customer focus
- Stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting capabilities
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and compliance
- Knowledge of PV industry regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently in remote or field-based environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline are advantageous
- Preferred experience with commercial solar projects
- CEC accreditation preferred
- Working at Heights certification preferred
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Procore, CAD, SMA, and SolarEdge products preferred
- Successful completion of Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and medical assessment if necessary
