About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join AGL Loy Yang for the 2027 Fabrication Apprenticeships.
As a boilermaker, you’ll learn to work with metal to fabricate, install, and repair critical infrastructure like boilers, pressure vessels, ducting, and structural supports.
You’ll master advanced skills in welding, thermal cutting, and interpreting complex technical drawings— All this while contributing to critical infrastructure that powers homes, industries, and entire communities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of Year 11 or equivalent by the end of 2026
Cert II related to the trade is highly desirable, however not essential.
Demonstrated interest in your nominated trade.
Strong commitment to safety.
Ability to travel to and from worksite.
Available to commence Apprenticeship in January 2027
