About the role
- Responsible for the development and optimisation of electrical, mechanical and civil maintenance strategies across the Hydro Power portfolio, to minimise asset downtime and ensure assets are maintained efficiently and effectively.
- Skilled in analysing turbine performance, condition monitoring data, and failure trends to proactively improve asset reliability.
- Strong capability in root cause analysis, FMECA, and developing cost-effective monitoring solutions for complex engineering issues.
- Experience in refining Reliability-Centered Maintenance strategies and optimising spare parts and task intervals based on asset criticality.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Familiar with SAP, Data analysis software, and reliability software to support performance reporting and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor qualification in Engineering – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience utilizing Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles to drive improvement highly desirable.
- Demonstrated previous experience in leading reliability improvement initiatives and developing maintenance documentation in power stations or other similar heavy industry.
- Understanding of SAP as a CMMS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, OSI PI, Reliability, RCA and Condition Monitoring software are desirable.
