About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and support security projects, including firewalls, security gateways, content filters, and other security environment components using Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents, supporting analysis, evidence collection, and preparation of technical reports to identify and mitigate potential security breaches.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, development, and other teams across the company, providing support for information security activities—particularly regarding Palo Alto Networks solutions—and assisting in security projects and initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Knowledge of cloud solutions and SASE.
Proven experience in the role with deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
Solid understanding of computer networks, network protocols, firewall architecture, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), and other information security components.
Experience in vulnerability analysis, incident investigation, and incident remediation.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and interact with different areas of the company.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with trends and best practices in information security, especially related to Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Desirable knowledge of other vendors' security products, such as Check Point and Fortinet.
Required certification: SSE-Engineer | Palo Alto Networks Security Service Edge Engineer.
Distinguishing certifications: Palo Alto Networks Security Architect; CCNA / CCNP; NSE5 or higher.
Language: Advanced English (for vendor interactions and participation in calls).
Education: Bachelor's degree completed (Computer Networks, Network Engineering, or related fields).
