About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and support security projects, including firewalls, security gateways, content filters, and other components of the security environment, using Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Participate in the investigation and resolution of incidents, assisting with analysis, evidence collection, and preparation of technical reports to identify and mitigate potential security breaches.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, development, and other teams across the company, providing support for information security–related activities, especially regarding Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Academic degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related fields.
Proven experience in the role, with in-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
Solid understanding of computer networks, network protocols, firewall architecture, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), and other information security components.
Experience in vulnerability analysis, and investigation and resolution of security incidents.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work in a team and interact with different areas of the company.
Capacity for continuous learning and ongoing updates regarding trends and best practices in information security, especially related to Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Good communication skills, proactivity, and ability to work in a team.
Knowledge of security products from vendors such as Check Point and/or Fortinet.
Desired certifications: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) and PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Administrator).
Advanced English (for occasionally opening a support ticket with the vendor and participating in calls).
