About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the programmatic gap across Operations, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality, to support deployment of Digit’s next-generation robot
  • Report to the Staff Technical Program Manager, Operations
  • Run Operations execution work by facilitating weekly deliverable check-ins with Supply Chain, Tech Ops, and Manufacturing
  • Track commitments, risks, and cross-team actions through closure
  • Serve as workstream program manager within strategic programs such as production ramp readiness, capacity expansion, and supplier transitions
  • Administer and continuously improve the PM toolchain, including Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Excel
  • Prepare the monthly Operations Program Review pack with portfolio health metrics, exception analysis, and escalation summaries
  • Surface risks early, escalate with specific asks, and drive follow-through on review decisions
  • Uphold and help functional teams adopt the program management framework of single intake, written status, and one source of truth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of program, project, or operations coordination experience in manufacturing, hardware, supply chain, or a comparably cross-functional operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to run effective meetings and drive action items to closure across teams you do not manage
  • Working proficiency with Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools
  • Strong Excel/Smartsheet skills
  • Clear, concise written communication, including status reports, meeting summaries, and executive-ready summaries
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving production ramp environment
  • Bonus: Experience in a hardware NPI or production ramp environment
  • Bonus: Familiarity with quality systems or regulatory/product compliance processes
  • Bonus: Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and basic supply chain planning concepts
  • Bonus: CAPM or Agile certification
  • Bonus: Experience building dashboards or light automation using Jira filters/JQL, Smartsheet formulas, or Excel Power Query
  • Current authorization to work in the United States
